Leading the Sales efforts for Western Australia for Kenworth, this opportunity provides the perfect mix of sales, strategy, operational management and hands on challenges. Reporting to the General Manager of Trucks WA, you’ll play a critical part of the Senior Management team for one of CJD’s largest and busiest operations. Based in Forrestfield WA (close to Perth Airport), you’ll liaise with all customers across WA, who all share a passion for our quality trucks. Keeping your finger on the pulse, and your in-depth understanding of competing products, markets and brands, whilst ensuring you are well-positioned to maintain a strong market share position. Working closely with your team to establish successful sales strategies and delivering a high standard of service and product to all customers. You will deliver: Strategic input and subject matter expertise to the General Manager – Trucks WA, working cohesively with the senior management team for Trucks WA. Ensure participation in all trucks sales in the state with strong territory plans and achievement of market targets. Focus on the team being customer driven to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction. Plans, works programs and initiatives which facilitate the achievement of the company’s profit targets. An exceptional team culture by sourcing the best talent for your team, coaching and developing them to achieve your sales strategies. Exceptional relationships with our OEMs, working closely with their team to get to know our products inside and out, so your team delivers solutions to our customers every time. High standard reporting, including performance to business forecasts, budgets and sales plans. You will have the following experience, skills & attributes: Experience working in leadership sales roles, preferably in the automotive and truck industries. Drive, energy, and autonomy, with a strategic mindset. You go the distance to deliver excellence to customers and other stakeholders. An unshakeable, professional, values-based and inspirational leadership style. You are resilient, with exceptional influencing skills. You are a trusted advisor and your team look to you for guidance. Formal qualifications are not essential, however trade qualifications and/or tertiary qualifications in business will be viewed favorably. Experience in similar capital goods industries, Agriculture, Mining & Construction Equipment and Power Generations – highly regarded. What’s in it for you?
