The role As the Inspector of Mines – Mining Engineer, you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for administering the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 and leading reform across Western Australia’s mining industry. Drawing on your substantial experience in mining engineering and knowledge of WHS practices, you will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement, conducting Inspections, technical audits and overseeing complex investigations, preparing reports and driving cultural and operational improvements across the sector. Your leadership, investigative skills, and expertise in mining operations and risk management will be essential to delivering meaningful outcomes and will be key to your success in this role.
