Our work will take you in different directions We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Team Leader to join our team in Melbourne, VIC . What will you be doing? Leadership / People management Leads and coaches the Engineering team, manages the performance of the team Drives a team culture with direct reports Works closely with the regional functions and management (sales and operations) Involvement in monthly discussions to understand workload and business expectations Facilitates weekly team huddles and meetings to drive team activity Works with other Engineering Team Leaders from other regions to share/gain best practice and enables consistent behaviour & workflow Works with area and global stakeholders and delivers ideas/feedback to drive change to improve frontline activity Drives the team to provide support across all business lines through an agile way of working Understand and work with Australian Standards or any other local regulations to complete design work or registrations Looks at Lean ways of working What we are looking for? Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant field, or several years’ experience in elevator business field operations. Experience in working within the Vertical Transport Industry in a similar role highly desirable Ability to engage stakeholders with Strong Communication skills Good knowledge of solution-related norms and standards Good engineering tool skills e.g. CAD and BIM skills Good knowledge of solutions Basic knowledge of competitors’ technical solutions (desired) Good understanding on supply operations The breadth of our business means career pathways both local and abroad.
