The Opportunity We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Development Engineer (Civil). This is a pivotal role focused on the early definition and planning of civil works for major infrastructure projects across the H igh-Voltage Power Sector , including Battery Energy Storage Systems, Wind Farms, Substations, and Transmission Lines . Reporting to the Civil Project Engineer Manager , you’ll be responsible for developing comprehensive civil scopes of work—translating project requirements, technical inputs, and site conditions into well-defined, buildable plans to support the bid and tendering process. You’ll work closely with Design Engineers, Construction Managers, and Planners to ensure project strategies are grounded in practical, cost-aware solutions. About You To be successful in this valued role, you will bring: Familiarity with key civil construction elements such as bulk earthworks, drainage, and conduit installation (experience in HV infrastructure is highly regarded) Ability to interpret geotechnical data, site conditions, and regulatory inputs to inform scope decisions Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management skills, focused on building and maintaining relationships across all levels of the business Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite A strong drive to learn and adapt, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment. Highly developed commercial awareness, with an understanding of how engineering decisions impact project outcomes and business performance
