Due to a significant uplift in technical workload across the secondary systems division, the team is looking to bring on experienced engineers. About the Role As a Senior Protection & Control Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting Powercor’s ongoing network operations. This is a hands-on, technically focused contract role, sitting within a high-performing secondary systems team. Key responsibilities include: Protection settings and coordination studies Fault level analysis Review and refinement of protection scheme designs About You You will be a senior-level engineer with deep experience in secondary systems and protection engineering within a regulated or utility environment. Ideal candidates will bring: Solid experience in protection settings, relay configuration, and fault analysis Prior experience within a DNSP (Powercor, AusNet, Jemena, etc.) or relevant contractor/consultancy Familiarity with software tools such as DIgSILENT or PSSE (preferred) Able to direct a team of Secondary Designers/Drafters to deliver efficient, technically sound, and constructable designs.
