Engineering Technologist (Team Leader) – Wingfield SA Kogan People Solutions, experienced recruiters, are assisting a well-established and highly regarded company in the metals surface treatment industry, based in Adelaide. They are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Engineering Technologist to join their dedicated team at their state-of-the-art facilities in Wingfield. This full-time, ongoing role offers a competitive salary between $75k and $85k per annum, plus superannuation. The duties and responsibilities of the position will include: Analyse and modify new and existing engineering technologies and apply them in testing and implementation of engineering projects. Monitoring the operation and maintenance of the manufacturing capabilities and achieve maximum efficiency under safe operating conditions. Optimising costs of production and design. Monitoring processes to ensure procedures are aligned with engineering principles and safety regulations. Performing test procedures as and when required. Managing the handling and storage of materials, products and equipment. Maintaining the required work performance and ensuring high standard housekeeping. Establish specifications and supervise manufacturing to ensure all quality and production requirements, including asset maintenance, are met. To be considered for this role you should be able to positively address the following attributes: Highly relevant engineering bachelor’s degree or higher qualification. At least 3 years, preferably more, of experience in a subject area closely aligned to the advanced coating technologies industry. Strong communication skills to ensure professional and effective client interactions. Excellent time management skills. Well developed, verifiable, people management capabilities. Ability to work under pressure. Are available to work varying shifts through the working week. High level technical skills relevant to the role, including well developed systems skills. Ideally you will have a strong knowledge of surface treatment industry requirements and relevant emerging technologies. You must have unrestricted Australian working rights to be considered.
