Responsibilities Depending on your discipline and role, you may: Lead and deliver complex engineering projects across design, systems, software, and integration. Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions in combat systems, mechanical, electrical, or structural domains. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety, and quality requirements. Manage configuration and technical documentation to support submarine capability. Drive continuous improvement and technical excellence. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support submarine capability and performance. About You Tertiary qualification in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, software, or related disciplines). Demonstrated experience in complex engineering environments, preferably in defence, maritime, or safety-critical industries. Strong understanding of systems engineering, design assurance, configuration management, and lifecycle management. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Eligibility for Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1). Eligibility These roles require a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
