Learn more at www.mra.com.au About the Role We’re seeking a Senior / Lead Control Systems Engineer to join our Newcastle-based team and lead the delivery of innovative automation and control projects. You’ll work alongside a highly skilled team of engineers to shape the direction of major infrastructure and industrial projects. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on development and is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others and solving real-world problems. You’ll be involved in: End-to-end development of PLC and SCADA systems Collaborating with project teams to deliver integrated control solutions Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers Contributing to system design, testing, commissioning, and documentation Supporting client requirements from concept through to commissioning What You’ll Need 5–15 years’ experience in automation and control systems Strong proficiency in PLC & SCADA development (Rockwell, Schneider, or similar platforms) Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A passion for collaboration and mentoring others Proven ability to deliver complex engineering outcomes on time and on budget Relevant engineering qualifications (Electrical/Mechatronics) Why Join MRA?
