ConsultANZ is looking for a talented Contract Administrator to join one of our clients based in Sydney. Renowned for delivering landmark infrastructure projects across Australia, our client specializes in tunnelling, roadworks, bridges, slope stabilization, and more, working with both government and major private sector clients. Your Role Will Involve: Managing subcontractor contracts and monitoring performance against agreed terms. Assessing, certifying, and processing progress claims, variations, and contractual letters. Preparing and negotiating contract changes, programs, and service-level agreements. Ensuring full compliance with internal procurement processes and industry standards. Building and maintaining solid stakeholder relationships to support project success. Identifying potential risks and escalating issues to project leadership. Delivering commercial support through regular contract reporting and updates. Advising senior leaders on key contractual matters and implementing strategic decisions. Assisting the procurement manager with sourcing and supplier evaluations. Tracking subcontractor KPIs and preparing detailed quarterly performance reviews. Handling contract-related queries and helping to resolve project disputes. Drafting and reviewing reports tied to project performance and company operations. What You Bring to the Table: A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. 2â4 years of experience in contract administration or commercial support roles. Solid grasp of procurement practices and contract management frameworks. Strong proficiency with MS Excel and the full Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with Xero and Procore is highly regarded. Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and multitasking abilities. Able to work autonomously while ensuring quality and compliance. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Understanding of contract law, negotiation, and risk mitigation strategies. Why Join?
