TalentWeb is looking to speak with experienced Structural Engineers specialising in construction engineering and Temporary Works Engineers for an Senior/Associate Engineer opportunity in Fortitude Valley, working with a specialist temporary works engineering consultancy, with offices across the East Coast. In this role you'll be responsible for: Delivering temporary works engineering solutions on projects within the transport, water, energy residential, and commercial sectors; Carrying out calculations and structural analysis with oversight of the QLD Manager and National Engineering Manager; Mentoring a design and engineering team and acting as the project manager, delivering construction engineering solutions for public sector clients and head contractors alike; Attending site and conducting inspections, ensuring client demands are delivered; Preparing engineering reports, third-party reviews, and detailed drawings while meeting deadlines and goals of the design process. Preferred Experience: Bachelors or Masters degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, recognized by Engineers Australia; RPEQ/CPEng accreditation a necessity; 5 years of experience from a consulting background, undertaking structural design in Australia, ideally QLD; A desire to be a technical lead, whilst shadowing a highly experienced manager and commercial leader in the temporary works sector in Australia.
