We are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-end, design and construct (D&C) contractor in Sydney that specialises in fit out, refurbishment, and commercial construction projects. They have built a reputation for delivering premium workspaces, high-end hospitality fit outs, and major refurbishments across the CBD and surrounding areas. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking a driven and detail-focused Contracts Administrator to join their growing team. Role Overview As a Contracts Administrator , you'll play a critical role in supporting the delivery of fit-out and refurbishment projects valued between $1M-$20M. You'll be responsible for the commercial management of contracts, subcontractor engagement, financial reporting, procurement, and compliance to ensure the smooth delivery of each project. You will work closely with the Project Manager and site team throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring cost control, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review subcontractor packages, scopes of work, and procurement schedules Administer head contracts and subcontractor agreements, ensuring full compliance Manage procurement, tendering processes, and supplier negotiations Track project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans with regular reporting to stakeholders Process claims, variations, extensions of time, and progress payments Liaise with consultants, site managers, and project teams on project timelines and deliverables Ensure contractual obligations are met and risks are identified and addressed early Contribute to project handovers and post-project financial close-out Requirements & Skills 2-6 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within the commercial fit out or refurb sector Demonstrated experience on D&C projects, ideally with Tier 2 or Tier 3 builders Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and financial reporting Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar field Proficient with construction software (e.g. Jobpac, Cheops, Procore, or similar) Excellent time management and communication skills with a strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects What's on Offer Work with a premium, reputable D&C contractor in Sydney Competitive salary and long-term career opportunities A strong pipeline of high-profile fit-out and refurbishment projects Collaborative team environment with experienced leadership Regular team-building, professional development, and social events Office located in a central Sydney location with flexible working conditions If you are interested in the above position, please apply below or reach out to Rose Kilcawley directly. 0450 598 772
