Contract Administrator — Sydney, Sydney Region

A market leading fit-out/refurb contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join their growing business. The position will be based out of the companies head office with occasional visits to site. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Managing the subcontract process Processing variations Negotiate and review subcontract tenders including preparation of tender comparison for review Prepare, check and review subcontract packages, scopes, lettings and procurement schedules Monitor subcontractors to ensure they are adhering to environmental commitments and responsibilities Preparation of accurate payment schedules Understand and manage subcontractor contractual risk Process progress claims, delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligations Qualifications and Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similar Minimum 2 to 3 years post graduate experience with a fit-out and refurb company Strong financial analysis and administrative focus Good negotiation skills Strong project reporting skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Well-developed interpersonal skills Experience with Microsoft Office suite
