Compare the Market is seeking a dynamic Sales Team Leader – General Insurance to drive sales in our outbound call centre, to manage a high-performing team, and deliver great customer service to our customers. This is a full time onsite position. Drive individual and team sales performance to meet and exceed targets through coaching, motivation, and goal alignment. Monitor real-time metrics (sales, conversion, productivity) and provide feedback to improve techniques and customer engagement. Support consultants in objection handling and closing sales while ensuring adherence to call scripting and compliance standards. Conduct regular 1:1 coaching and create personalized development plans to support skill growth and career progression. Identify training needs and collaborate with Sales/L&D teams to address performance and knowledge gaps. Lead daily team huddles to align on targets, share best practices, and foster a high-energy, supportive sales culture. Manage daily workflows and provide structured end-of-day performance reporting. OTE between $120k - $130k based on your team’s performance. About you: Must have previous experience in a contact centre sales environment, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets, ideally within general insurance. Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills, with a track record of developing high-performing sales teams. Ability to manage and drive sales performance in real-time, utilising data-driven decisions to meet and exceed targets. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage sales teams effectively. Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements within the insurance industry, with a focus on maintaining sales standards. Must have previous experience as a Team Leader in an outbound sales environment, driving results and achieving sales goals (desirable). Familiarity with Genesys Cloud or similar dialer technology, with experience optimizing these tools for sales performance (desirable). Want to know more? apply now!
