We’re looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead a large, high-performing sales team across Melbourne and Brisbane. Establish clear daily sales disciplines, track key metrics (conversion, revenue, contact quality), and continuously optimise performance. Leadership & Team Development: Lead and mentor Sales Managers and Team Leaders across Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney to create a high-performing, resilient, and customer-focused sales culture. Foster professional growth and succession planning for future leaders. Capability Building: Drive continuous improvement through coaching frameworks, playbooks, scripting, and compliance training. Ensure world-class sales practices are embedded in all customer interactions. Performance & Workforce Management: Own daily, weekly, and monthly sales results, including KPI monitoring, forecasting, capacity planning, and recruitment in collaboration with Talent Acquisition. Sales Enablement: Partner closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to optimise lead allocation, dialler strategies, incentive programs, and reporting tools that empower your team. Customer Experience Management: Balance sales targets with exceptional service standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention remain top priorities. What you bring: Extensive experience leading large outbound call centre sales teams, ideally in health insurance, financial services, or regulated industries Proven ability managing multiple layers of leadership and driving results through Sales Managers and Team Leaders Expertise in sales coaching, call quality assurance, performance management, and cultural transformation Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making This is a national role based onsite in either Melbourne or Brisbane, with regular travel to Head Office in Sydney.
