ABOUT THE ROLE The Administration Support Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations by providing essential administrative services to the national school support team. This includes providing support to various function areas including safeguarding, learning and pedagogy, practice and identity and First Nations education. To view the Position Description, please CLICK HERE KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE: Proven experience as an Administration Officer or in a similar role Excellent organisation, administration and prioritisation skills Proficient in arranging meetings/events Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to proofread and edit documents Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and create impactful presentations A courteous, engaging and efficient manner, with a customer service focus The ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously Effective time management, achieving deadlines and follow up of actions Confidence to seek out information/ raw data on topics as requested A proactive approach and high levels of initiative Competency in using Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams (and in learning to use new software) Understanding of, and commitment to the values of a Catholic educational system of schools in the Edmund Rice tradition. A commitment to the ongoing and proactive protection and safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk of abuse Demonstrate confidence in liaising with large number of key stakeholders to ensure positive outcome.
