About the Role We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. You will support our construction teams by contributing to technical drawings, site measurements and construction coordination, and ensure projects meet design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Key Responsibilities Prepare 2D and basic 3D construction drawings using AutoCAD or similar software Review project plans to extract measurements, elevations, and material quantities for use in cost estimation and scheduling Visit construction sites to take field measurements, perform basic material or soil testing, and document findings in daily logs Assist in monitoring construction progress against approved plans and report inconsistencies to supervisor Compile technical documents including sketches, material take-offs, and cost tabulations for internal review and client submission Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to communicate specification details and ensure timely delivery of materials and services Support the preparation of project reports, compliance documents, and contract files under guidance Participate in team meetings to provide updates on drafting progress, material schedules, or site observations Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the civil or construction industry Proficiency in civil drafting and software tools Strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Why Join Us?
