WHS (Safety) Administrator - Hancock Agriculture — Brisbane CBD, Brisbane

About the Role This role provides vital assistance and support to the Head of Safety, ensuring smooth and effective day-to-day coordination of our safety systems and processes. You will also work closely alongside the WHS Advisor who also supports the team. You will be responsible for assisting in the administration and maintenance of our health, safety, and animal welfare systems, supporting compliance activities, and helping to drive a positive safety culture across our operations. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support to the WHS team. Maintain and update WHS records, registers, and safety databases. Importantly, this means helping remote station managers close out corrective actions and tasks and maintain the overall health of the Safety Management System (currently we use Safe Ag Systems). Assist with data entry, reporting, and document control. Support the preparation of safety-related reports, presentations, and communications. Coordinate the scheduling of training, audits, meetings, and other safety-related activities. Assist with tracking and follow-up of incident reports and corrective actions. Support the maintenance of policies, procedures, and Safe Work Instructions. Liaise with station teams to ensure accurate and timely WHS documentation. Assist with onboarding materials and support the rollout of WHS initiatives. Provide general administrative support to broader WHS and compliance projects. What You’ll Bring to the Role Strong administrative or coordination background—experience in WHS or compliance preferred. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and data systems. Strong organisational and planning skills. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information. A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork. Desirable Qualifications & Experience Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or willingness to work towards it). Familiarity with WHS principles, legislation, or management systems. Experience working in agriculture, rural industries, or similar operational environments. Exposure to incident reporting systems or safety software (e.g., Vault, Skytrust, etc.). Why Join Us?
