We are seeking an innovative and experienced Leader of Student Experience (Years 9-12) to take a pivotal role in reimagining secondary education through a dynamic, studio-based model of learning. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity until the end of 2026, with a review to follow. About the Role As the Leader of Student Experience , you will guide the academic, social, and emotional development of students across Years 9 to 12 within an open-age, interest-led learning framework. You will lead a passionate team including the Year 9-10 and Year 11-12 Pastoral Leaders, DP Coordinator, VM Coordinator, VCE Coordinator, and Careers Coordinator and collaborate across the school to create a supportive, individualised learning experience for every student. Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of a forward-thinking, studio-based model of senior learning This role includes 10 hours per week dedicated to leadership responsibilities, in addition to teaching and other non-teaching duties. Inspire and mentor educators to adopt innovative, student-centred teaching practices Support and monitor individualised learning and career pathways across VCE, VM, VET, and IB programs Collaborate with wellbeing and inclusive education teams to support holistic student development Provide strategic oversight of senior programs, including assessments, examinations, and data-driven improvement initiatives Strengthen partnerships with families, community organisations, and external agencies Develop a robust mentoring and pastoral care model that strengthens student connection, engagement, and sense of purpose About You You are a progressive, student-centred Teacher and Leader with a genuine belief in nurturing each learner's unique potential. You embrace innovation, challenge traditional paradigms, and foster meaningful relationships that support student growth.
