Our client is a small workplace based in Wollongong that supports young individuals from ages 6-24 years old living with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by having a safe place to offer empowering programs to assist them with their everyday lives to improve overall confidence and sense of self. If you are passionate about making a difference, wanting to earn while you learn and are eager to obtain a Certificate III in Business, this opportunity could be perfect for you! ABOUT THE ROLE The opportunity is based in Berkley (Wollongong region) at a small business wanting a new team member to assist the team with general administrative support. The business welcomes neurodivergent applicants to apply! The role is part-time (21 hours per week), 9.00am - 3.00pm, four days a week (potential to change) HOW DOES THE TRAINEESHIP WORK? The traineeship duration is for 24-months . During this time, you will work part-time, be trained in the role at reception and assist in daily administrative support . You will be supervised and mentored to become competent in the position and each week you will have 3-hours paid study time to work toward completing your studies in a Certificate III in Business . All learnings will be related to what you are learning in the workplace! DAILY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Front desk reception – greeting visitors and managing calls Handling enquiries and messages professionally Filing and document management Using templates to complete price quotes and service agreements General admin tasks including photocopying, shredding, laminating, and scanning Supporting the team with various day-to-day administrative duties ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS WE NEED Friendly, reliable, and eager to learn Confident and willing to communicate to customers and the team Independent, organised and detail-focused Comfortable using basic Microsoft Office programs Average to high literacy, spelling and grammar is required Passionate about making a positive impact WHY IS THIS A GOOD OPPORTUNITY Obtain a Certificate III in Business upon completion, fee-free!
