Civil site engineer to manage $10m civil project, Berwick location. $45- $55/hoursuper Your new company A national contractor with operations mainly out of QLD, my client has recently picked up a $10m civils package to deliver some sporting fields on behalf of a local council. A stable project to run for 6- 9 months, they need an immediate engineer to be site-based, 5 days a week to oversee all civil works. Based in the Berwick area, this is the second project our national client has delivered in Victoria. Your new role Very much site based you will be responsible for overseeing all subcontractors on site, from earthworks, services, electrical works, landscaping, everything you can expect in a sporting field. An understanding of cost control would also be advantageous. You will communicate with all contractors on site making sure delivery and quality are maintained. What you'll need to succeed You MUST have; Based in the South East of Melbourne, able to get to the Berwick area 3- 7 years experience in managing civil sites, of similar size and value. Available to start in 1 week's notice. Civil Engineering degree Proven experience working for a civil contractor managing similar projects Local Australian/NZ contractor experience preferred Excellent communication skills- this is a site based role so essential What you'll get in return Secure work for the next 6- 9 months and potentially longer.
