The Consumer Engagement Consultant is a key facilitator in ensuring Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospital patients and their families experience high quality, responsive, and person centred care â espousing our values of safe, responsive, kind. This position is pivotal in increasing consumer voice through the encouragement of consumer feedback, including enquiries, complaints and compliments. This role works in collaboration with the Manager Consumer Engagement to support timely responses to enquiries and complaints from the most appropriate areas of Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospital. A key function of this position is to provide liaison and advocacy to patients and consumers regarding their health care needs, and to understand their health care rights.
