We are seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer or Lead Civil Engineer, perhaps a Team Lead. You're currently in a similar role. The role You'll have been a Senior Civil Design engineer until now so you'll know what to do already. Leading sizeable projects will mean that you will need to be comfortable talking to clients and working with project managers and other discipline stakeholders. You will have a team of engineers to assist you. You'll also QA the work of others, lead a small team and be handy on the tools. To succeed in this role You'll need to know how to design strategically and masterplan A-Z. You'll need some years clocked up in the Melbourne land development market - between 10 and 20 years' experience would be ideal. You'll be DAS Design accredited - obviously As for the rest - come as you are. The company This consulting firm was established over 30 years ago. A highly reputable urban development specialist; known for the work in the land development and 'urban' arena, mainly greenfield work and their strong emphasis on quality client relationships and employee happiness. More stuff you'll need to know You'll be working in an office consisting of around 30 colleagues. I'm afraid you can't really bring your dog (I mean, you could ask) and this one is office based (you could do a day from home but it's more likely you'll be sitting with everyone else). There's a flat structure and everyone takes accountability for their work and is respectful of others. They take employee wellness and happiness seriously and you'll be remunerated well. How much?
