Job Description Position: APS5 Procurement Admin Officer Location: Canberra, ACT Estimated Start Date: ASAP Engagement Type: Non-ongoing Duration: Approx. 12-month contract Salary: $86,882 - $94,673 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation Security clearance requirement: Ability to obtain/maintain Baseline clearance Job Overview: An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Procurement Admin Officer to join a high-profile government agency in a fast-paced and strategic environment. This is a role where you will be providing high-quality administrative and financial support to the team, enabling the effective operation of Whole-of-Government (WofG) procurement arrangements including single-seller agreements (SSAs), panels, and digital marketplaces. This role is perfect for a high-performing and professional individual who has demonstrated experience in administrative support roles within a government or corporate setting and has knowledge of WofG procurement processes and financial requirements for contract management. Duties: Calculate Cost Recovery invoicing to support payments to our Single Seller Vendors Reconciliation and processing of Seller Invoices. Develop productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Create standard operational procedures for processes completed by the Finance team. Work closely with the SSA Delivery teams to provide the financial requirements of the agreements. Skills and Experience: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and financial reporting tools. Understanding of Commonwealth procurement frameworks and cost recovery models. Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills. Experience in managing financial activities related to special accounts and coordinated procurement arrangements is desirable. Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field is desirable. Eligibility: Australian Citizenship is required. Must be able to pass a criminal history check and have the ability to obtain/maintain a Baseline clearance.
