We’re currently recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician on behalf of a well-established manufacturer with a long-standing footprint in the Australian building and construction sector. With decades of consistent growth, this is a company known for stability, strong leadership, and investing in modern production systems. The Role As a Maintenance Electrician, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on keeping the plant running at full capacity. Key responsibilities include: Electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair of manufacturing machinery including extruders, mixers, conveyors, and automated systems Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance in line with CMMS schedules to reduce unplanned downtime Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise disruption to production Assisting with installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new plant and equipment Working with PLC systems (troubleshooting and basic programming/modifications) Maintaining compliance with all safety standards and isolation procedures Collaborating with mechanical fitters, operators, and production teams to identify recurring issues and suggest improvements Completing shift reports and maintenance records accurately and on time Roster Pay 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off 12-hour shifts (includes $400 shift allowance per cycle) Approx. $113k base super overtime Weekly pay includes: 38 hours at standard time 4 hours at double time All overtime above this paid at double time What You’ll Need QLD Electrical Licence Solid experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance Strong fault-finding skills and an understanding of preventative maintenance practices Flexibility to work rotating day/night shifts Why Apply?
