What You Will Do: Based in Clayton, this pivotal role will see you leading a team of Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers to drive growth, innovation, and client engagement strategies. You’ll play a critical role in strengthening the company’s market position and unlocking new revenue streams. We’re seeking an experienced Logistics or Supply Chain professional with a strong background in strategic sales, team leadership, and ideally, prior operational experience. This role would be well suited to someone who has come from an operations background and is looking to leverage their hands-on knowledge to influence commercial outcomes and customer solutions across the contract logistics sector. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—driving commercial growth, deepening key client relationships, and delivering impactful, strategic solutions across the logistics sector. Key Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Team Leadership & Performance Provide strong leadership and guidance to a sales team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Develop and implement clear performance metrics, including team and individual KPIs, targets, and key milestones to drive accountability and success. Client Engagement & Satisfaction Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and industry by understanding their Logistics needs and delivering tailored supply chain, value-driven solutions. Actively network across the Beverage industry to ensure Visy Logistics is front-of-mind for upcoming opportunities. Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention Revenue Growth, Market Expansion & Pipeline Management Drive year-over-year revenue growth within the Beverage category, while expanding into new customer segments. Oversee a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and effective progression of opportunities through the sales cycle. Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to securing new business, ensuring commercial objectives are met. Develop and execute strategic plans within the targeted industry vertical, aligned to broader business goals and evolving market demands. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, marketing, and finance to ensure category strategies are effectively executed and aligned with organizational objectives. What You Will bring: 5 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within sales and logistics industry. Demonstrated experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport operations. Strong understanding of contract logistics including Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR regulations, and mass/load management principles is highly desirable. Demonstrated track record of successfully developing and executing sales growth pipelines, converting leads into sales and managing large tender responses. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with sales platforms preferred. Willingness to travel as needed within the AU region if required.
