Night Shift Tanker Driver Due to an increased volume of work, Heidelberg Materials Australia are currently looking for 4 Night Shift Tanker Drivers to join our team based out of our Bibra Lakes depot. These roles are generally required to operate from 6pm to 6am and attract an hourly rate of $46.60 Drive and Deliver Driving a tanker for Heidelberg Materials Australia means you will be spending plenty of time by yourself and on some shifts, you may not see anyone at all. This role will suit you if you enjoy your own company and aren’t too fussed if you don’t have to interact with anyone. On some days you will be meeting with new customers but on others you will be seeing the same faces as yesterday. About the role: Your shift could start at anytime during the day, pending business requirements. Night shifts are also required from time to time. Your days, or nights, will consist of pick-up and delivery of tanker freight with little to no human interaction throughout the course of your shift. We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your day About you: Minimum of HC license with previous driving experience (essential) You enjoy the solitude of driving and prefer to keep to yourself at work You enjoy routine work and don’t crave too much variety in your working day You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck. Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Hanson sites) Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts.
