Electrical Project Engineer Your Role Reporting to the Principal Electrical Engineer, the Electrical Project Engineer will focus on Electrical, Instrumentation and Control System project design whilst ensuring compliance to Australian and Internal Standards. Main responsibilities include: • Preparing capital project proposals, including scope of works, engineering designs, project schedules, and budget estimates in consultation with site production and maintenance teams. • Ensuring that projects are implemented according to Australian and Internal Standards. • Managing internal resources, external contractors as well as coordinating any changes to scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget. • Providing technical guidance and resolution to queries arising during project execution. About You As a minimum you will hold or be progressing towards holding: • Trade Certificate and Associate-Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical role OR • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical role. • A thorough understanding of the Electrical Safety Act and associated Electrical Standards. • Proficient in electrical design software including AutoCAD and Power Tools for Windows • Experience in PLC/DCS & SCADA development, commissioning, and fault finding is well regarded but not essential. • Computer literacy in Microsoft applications and Maintenance Management systems including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications (SAP). • Strong Demonstrated WHS & E knowledge.
