The future is bright, offering endless opportunities for many to Grow with Lindsay’s The Role: We are seeking a Driver to join the team in the Gatton depot for local pickup and delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight. This role is a casual role with shifts spread across the full week - weekend work included. Shifts commence from 6 / 8pm in an evening. Primary duties of the role include: Working with temperature sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runs Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Have a current & valid HC licence as a minimum. MC licence highly regarded. Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems. Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills. Be well presented, professional and reliable. A current and valid Forklift licence is highly regarded but not essential. Previous refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.
