The Role: We are seeking local MC Driver’s to join the team in the Brisbane depot for local pickup and delivery work. Local drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods and the loading, unloading and load restraint of freight. These roles are full-time permanent positions. Please indicate roster preference on your application. We have multiple roles available, all running Monday to Friday, with various start times to suit different schedules. Start times available: 9:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, and 1:00pm. Primary duties of the role include: Working with temperature sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runs Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork including the use of in-vehicle technology Interacting with clients in a professional manner Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight About You: The candidates we are looking for will: Hold a current & valid MC licence (as a minimum) Experience in relevant licence class and reversing onto docks Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills. Be well presented, professional and reliable. Previous refrigerated transport experience is highly respected in this role.
