Operations / Customer Service — Sydney Olympic Park, Auburn Area

Located in Sydney Olympic Park this prestigious Logistics and Freight company is looking for a Senior Operations / Customer Service person to assist the Manager in the day to day management of international freight shipments. You will predominately be focussed on import sea shipments, and it is essential you have experience in this area to be an eligible candidate. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate sea and air freight shipments from booking to delivery - for a portfolio of clients Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and updates Manage purchase orders, job registrations, pre-alerts, and EDOs Liaise with shipping lines, transport companies, and overseas agents Monitor cargo status, availability, and transshipment details Ensure timely and accurate documentation for customs clearance Finalise client and agent invoicing Organise local and interstate road/rail transport as required Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience in freight forwarding operations and customer service in the Australian market Strong knowledge of CargoWise essential Excellent communication and customer service skills High attention to detail and strong time management abilities Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines A proactive, team-oriented approach and a problem-solving mindset Perks that come with the role: Supplied daily lunches Above market remuneration Onsite parking and conveniently located near train station Modern office facilities Supportive team environment Apply now and join a company that values your contribution and supports your future.
