With a strong focus on individualised care and long-term stability, they work closely with NDIS participants across the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne to foster meaningful independence and community engagement. Key Responsibilities Assisting with personal care including showering, dressing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene routines Providing support for clients with catheter care, bowel management, and mobility aids Supporting participation in the community through outings, appointments, and recreation Carrying out domestic support tasks like meal preparation, cleaning, and light housework Medication assistance and following client-specific support plans Accurately recording notes and incident reports, and complying with WHS standards Requirements To be eligible for this position, applicants must hold or be prepared to obtain the following credentials and checks prior to commencing employment: A completed Certificate III or IV in Disability Support, Individual Support, Aged Care, or a related discipline A valid Australian driver’s licence and regular access to a vehicle with current full comprehensive insurance A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or be eligible to apply) A National Police Clearance issued within the past 12 months A recently completed Manual Handling Certificate (dated within the last 12 months) Confirmation of NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion Up-to-date Infection Control and Hand Hygiene training certificates (or willingness to complete these online modules) The legal right to work in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa holder) Ability to provide two professional references , preferably from past supervisors or managers in a care environment Benefits Stable, ongoing employment with 30 hours per week A supportive coordination team and regular performance feedback If you're committed to providing consistent, high-quality support that improves lives and encourages independence, we want to hear from you.
