About the Opportunity Securecorp is excited to announce a great opportunity for Control Room Operators to join our team of professionals on a Casual Basis (Mon-Sun Flexibility required) In this role, you will ensure the delivery of security and safety to the assigned site, it's tenants and/or visitors by undertaking control room duties and incident management. In addition, you will be monitoring surveillance footage, compiling reports and coordinating an effective security presence, complimented by exemplary customer service to ensure compliance with site requirements. We have vacancies across Melbourne, Parkville, Tullamarine & Broadmeadows! The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to: Monitor, operate and review CCTV system. Communicate and liaise with emergency services and associated internal and external stakeholders. Maintaining and writing accurate security incident reports, data logs, emergency response activities and visitor logs. Critically assess and respond to situations of risk adeptly and in line with standard operating procedures. Operate a two way radio communication network for security personal and manage the deployment of security personnel. Access control to personnel, employees and visitors. Take part in ongoing training programs and exercises. Key Selection Criteria: We’re looking for candidates who: Hold a current Security Licence with a Control Room endorsement. Have strong administrative skills, computer competency and excellent email etiquette. Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced team environment and experience with Fire-Panels. Knowledge across any of the following or similar software: Gallagher, Avigilon, Genetec, Ascom, and Passagepoint. Current First Aid and CPR Certification. Valid Driver’s licence with transport.
