Simply Helping – Central Coast Part-time Position available for Home Care Support Worker. Do you hold a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Services, or have at least two years of experience working as a support worker? Must be committed to deliver quality care and services to people in their own home and local community. You will be required to deliver services to individual Service Users as set out in their Care Plan and services. The position can sometimes require for you to be able to work weekend hours and/or public holidays. Minimum requirements: A valid National Police Check A valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCCE) Current Australian driver’s license. Current First Aid and CPR Certificate. Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care and/or Disability Support. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Duties may include the following: Domestic assistance (light house duties – vacuuming, dusting, mopping). Personal care (bathing, dressing, undressing). Social support (shopping, social outings, meal preparation). Transport (medical appointments and outings).
