APRA AMCOS is a member-owned music rights management organisation, positioned at the intersection of music, data and technology. We have more than 124,000 members who are songwriters, composers and music publishers. We license organisations to play, perform, copy or record our members’ music, and we distribute the royalties to our members. There is a full-time permanent role vacancy within the Radio and Music Reporting Team. The role is based in our Ultimo office, which is on Gadigal land. We are seeking a detail orientated individual who thrives in a busy environment to take on the role as Reporting & Claim Administrator. The key objective for the role is to accurately analyse, edit and enter the contents of TV, radio, digital and other usage reports in the APRA AMCOS database, enabling on time client invoicing and claiming of usage data, thereby facilitating accurate payments to members for their musical works used. This is achieved through key understanding of incoming datasets, maintaining high level of data integrity when processing data and applying a constructive, efficient approach to data processing challenges that relate to the manual review of usage data As a Reporting and Claims Administrator your responsibilities will include: Manually match and enter usage data into systems when not provided digitally. Research titles and related info online to improve data accuracy. Report irregularities in data sources to management for follow-up. Investigate internal/external queries related to reported usage. Perform general admin and data clean-up tasks as needed. To thrive in this role, you'll need: High attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Intermediate ability in Microsoft Excel and Word Aptitude for working with reports and data Research skills Good general knowledge of popular culture: contemporary and popular music and broadcast, film and tv.
