The Inside Sales Representative role is key in managing a university's hardware exemption process, essentially configuring devices within an approved range to meet the demands of the use case or software stack. This also encompasses any bespoke hardware requests for non-catalogue items. Compnow also manages a seasonal Lab refresh program (Mid-year & EOY), and the successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of ticket management, quoting and stakeholder engagement concerning EUC assets due for refresh in these spaces. Managing the hardware exemption process and overall technology demands. Overseeing season lab refreshes and overall stakeholder engagement with the university. Creating & issuing users & requisitioners with quotes. Converting quotes to orders as required. What you’ll bring? Previous experience working in the IT channel or distributor experience in either a sales, sales support or technical capacity. Good knowledge of EUC devices and technology in general. Love working in a timely manner and strong attention to detail. Experience working with Pronto ERP, ServiceNow and Microsoft O365 is desirable. Passionate to learn new technology and develop your skills. What else do you need to apply? Start within a 4-week time frame, ideally. Travel on-site to our office in Notting Hill Must be an Australian resident available to work full time without restrictions. Compnow will provide and require all successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check as well as a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
