Your new role This is a pivotal leadership role for a senior engineering professional with deep expertise in project delivery across multiple sites, particularly in intralogistics and material automation systems. You will spearhead the execution of major projects while managing a team of engineers and project managers across NSW and interstate. Key responsibilities include: Leading the end-to-end delivery of automation projects across multiple locations. Managing and mentoring a team of engineers and project managers. Overseeing system design, PLC/SCADA development, and on-site commissioning. Coordinating complex system cutovers and ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Acting as the technical authority and primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Ensuring all projects meet the highest standards for safety, quality, and performance. What you'll need to succeed Extensive experience in large-scale material handling automation. Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex project portfolios. Strong technical background in PLC, SCADA, HMI, and control systems. Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Software, or Systems Engineering. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A well-established network within the industrial automation industry is highly desirable.
