About the Role: The Finance Administrator/Payroll Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing financial transactions and payroll processes within the organisation. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing support to the finance team. Approx 430 wage employees. Key Responsibilities: ● Managing the shared inbox for timesheet-related queries, ensuring all queries are actioned and resolved promptly and professionally. ● Responding to queries in line with the relevant EA and compliance processes, ensuring that any issues are appropriately escalated and resolved. ● Focusing two to three days each week on payroll functions, including; ● Following up on outstanding timesheet approvals to ensure they are entered into the system accurately and in a timely manner. ● Manually entering or adjusting timesheets where necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal requirements. ● Reviewing rosters and ensuring that all times and adjustments match accurately with submitted timesheets, supporting accurate data processing. What are the key responsibilities & requirements? ● Performing final checks and reconciliations to verify that all timesheet data is correct before handing over to the shared services team for payment processing. What We’re Looking For: Mandatory ● Proven experience in payroll processing and financial administration. ● Familiarity with accounting principles and financial regulations. ● Experience with accounting software and payroll systems. ● Microsoft Excel Experience including Pivot Tables Preferred ● Enterprise Agreements / Awards knowledge & experience is highly regarded. ● SAP experience. ● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
