Reporting to the Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing contract and commercial administrative support and implementing contract management processes to support the success of the Group and its projects. This is a full-time, fixed term position for 10 months based in our Helensvale head office, with flexibility to work from home one to two days a week. Reviewing and negotiating new vendor set up forms to ensure compliance with SEE Group’s policies and procedures Assisting the Commercial and Legal Team with the bid process to ensure that the necessary commercial and legal information is understood and disseminated to the project team Administering the applications for Contract securities and insurance requirements. Assisting the Commercial and Legal Team and Project teams through compiling information to resolve disputes and claims across a range of issues in both downstream and upstream Creation of files, ensuring file management, documenting and maintaining internal documents. Assist with any administrative duties the Group Commercial and Legal Manager and Legal Counsel may need. Arranging for execution of myriad of documents including but not limited to agreements, contracts and new vendor forms both in person and electronically. Essential Skills and Attributes Proven experience in a similar Paralegal role is highly regarded. Sound understanding of various forms of upstream contracts, vendor and subcontract agreements. Awareness of the relationship between head contracts and subcontracts. Basic understanding of guarantees, warranties, insurances and bonds. Strong attention to detail and analytically minded. Basic negotiation, influencing abilities supported by intermediate verbal and written communication skills. Ability to problem solve and provide pragmatic solutions. Exposure to paralegal experience highly regarded, but not essential. Understanding and experience in application of procurement and contract management principles, concepts, practices, and standards are favourable. Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and SharePoint Ability to manage and quantify large volumes of data with accuracy and attention to detail. What’s next?
