Our consortium—featuring Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild—is delivering this once-in-a-generation project under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), combining world-class expertise and innovation to build a future-ready rail system that will support the region's growth for decades to come. About the Role: We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Safeworking & PO Administrator to support the scheduling, rostering, and administration of Protection Officers (POs) and other safeworking resources on the SSTOM Project. This key role plays an important part in ensuring rail possession activities run safely and efficiently by managing compliance, timesheets, communications, and resourcing for rail safety operations. This position would suit someone with a background in scheduling, rostering, or project administration, preferably within the rail or infrastructure sector. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate rostering and scheduling of POs and safeworking staff across the project. - Manage the possession planning email inbox and all related communications with project teams and subcontractors. - Process and track timesheets and invoicing for POs and safeworking personnel. - Maintain accurate registers, look-ahead calendars, and compliance records. - Support data entry and ensure up-to-date records for access, hours, and resource allocations. - Liaise with the construction delivery team and subcontractors regarding site access and staffing. - Provide administrative support to the safeworking and possession planning teams to help ensure smooth rail operations. What We’re Looking For: - Previous experience in scheduling, rostering, or workforce planning is essential. - Strong administrative and coordination skills with high attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong MS Office skills and confidence working with spreadsheets, registers, and databases. - Previous experience in the rail or construction industries is highly regarded. - Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
