Paralegal — The Hills District, Sydney Region

Are you a passionate 3rd or 4th year law student looking to gain hands-on legal experience while making a real difference in people’s lives? At BaptistCare, we believe in purpose-driven work—and we’re looking for a motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic Governance & Legal Team. Your Role As a Paralegal, you’ll work closely with senior lawyers and the Company Secretary to support a wide range of legal and governance functions. This is your chance to apply your legal knowledge in a real-world setting—preparing documents, conducting legal research, opening matter files, and even attending board meetings. What You’ll Learn & Do Legal Support Draft and proofread legal documents Review and summarise contracts and legal materials Conduct legal research and summarise findings Prepare correspondence, and court files Respond to Court subpoenas Attend meetings as needed Maintain legal schedules and assist with reporting (including team reports) Governance Support Draft agendas and compile Board papers Attend Board meetings and take minutes Assist in preparing governance documentation About you A 3rd or 4th year law student at an Australian university Completed core law subjects (contracts, torts, property) Strong communication and research skills A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude Previous paralegal experience is a plus, but not essential Ready to kickstart your legal career with purpose?
