About the Role Reporting to the Head of Learning Experience, this role leads the design and development of engaging, high-quality learning content across AIM’s nationally accredited VET portfolio. With over 3,500 learners currently enrolled, AIM’s RTO delivers flexible, career-focused qualifications supported by interactive, self-paced online learning and strong student support. You’ll play a key role in bringing course content to life through H5P-rich learning experiences hosted on Moodle, contributing to AIM’s mission to empower working professionals across Australia. The role works collaboratively with subject matter experts, compliance, technology, and delivery teams to ensure content is educationally effective, compliant, and aligned with best practice. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of AIM’s VET learning experiences across a range of subjects using Moodle and H5P. Create engaging course content and activities that improve student engagement, knowledge retention, and completion rates. Adapt, enhance, and quality-check existing learning and assessment materials for alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts and industry advisors, to ensure content is current and relevant. Apply adult learning principles and AIM’s learning design standards to all content. Curate and integrate external resources such as articles, case studies, and videos to enrich student learning. Support continuous improvement by analysing feedback, conducting quality reviews, and driving innovation in learning design. About you Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with 5 years of instructional design experience in the VET or adult education sector.= Deep understanding of pedagogical theory and instructional design models, especially in self-paced and online learning Proven ability to develop learning and assessment content aligned with Australian Training Packages and AQF standards. Demonstrated experience in creating engaging digital learning resources using tools like H5P and Moodle. Exceptional writing, research, and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong knowledge of RTO compliance, including ASQA standards and assessment validation. Passionate about learning innovation and committed to improving learner outcomes and experiences.
