Construction CPP is Australia’s leading provider of end-to-end substation solutions for utilities and the renewable energy sector, delivering design, installation, and maintenance services up to 500kV. Our one-stop-shop approach covering design, civil, manufacturing, electrical works, grid connection, and commissioning, ensures seamless project delivery. The Opportunity Our Project Engineers play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the technical aspects of our projects. They provide comprehensive project management support, contribute to the development of both primary and secondary design aspects, handle procurement, offer site construction support, implement quality systems, assist with tendering, and support reporting and testing/commissioning activities. Acting as a conduit between the design and construction teams, they ensure seamless communication and collaboration, translating design intent into practical construction outcomes. Reporting to the Project Manager, they are responsible for the successful completion of HV system design and construction as part of the project team. About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering; General knowledge of the High Voltage infrastructure industry, including project management, design, procurement, construction and commissioning knowledge; Knowledge of MS Project and Project Management principles The ability to solve problems and make good decisions in a timely manner, consulting others when appropriate; Proven ability to work in a team environment (Communication with Designers, Construction Personnel, Client and Management); Be rewarded at CPP.
