About the role We are seeking a passionate Disability Support Worker to provide regular morning support to an individual living with a spinal cord injury and Wolf-Parkinson-White Syndrome . Duties include assistance with personal hygiene, light household tasks, and daily bowel care. The preferred support worker is patient, grounded, and motivating—someone who gently encourages the person to participate in their care routines without being forceful, helping to maintain a sense of autonomy and comfort throughout daily activities. Shifts Client 1 Week 1: Wednesday : 9:00am - 11:00am Thursday : 9:00am - 11:00am Saturday : 10:30am - 12:30pm Sunday : 1:30pm - 3:30pm Week 2: Monday : 9:00am - 11:00am Tuesday : 11:00am - 3:00pm Wednesday : 9:00am - 11:00am Thursday : 9:00am - 11:00am 18 Hours per fortnight! Client 2 Week 1: Monday: 5:00am - 7:00am Saturday : 5:00am - 7:00am Sunday : 6:00am - 8:00am Week 2: Monday: 5:00am - 7:00am Tuesday : 5:00am - 7:00am Sunday : 6:00am - 8:00am 18 Hours per fortnight! Pay Rates E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL) SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $33.96 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $37.36 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $38.04 Saturday: $47.55 Sunday: $61.13 Public holiday: $74.72 Your Certificates and Licences NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current) Working with Children Check (Current) Australian Driver's License Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You First Aid and CPR (Current) All employees will be required to comply with mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory where they work.
