The Opportunity: This top class builder is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contract Administrator to join their dynamic Brisbane team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant projects within a supportive and growth-oriented company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient financial and contractual management of their projects, working closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and management of subcontractor contracts and purchase orders. Reviewing and processing subcontractor claims and progress payments. Managing variations and extensions of time. Assisting with project cost control and financial reporting. Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding contractual matters. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Assisting with the preparation of head contract progress claims. Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment. Skills and Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Contract Administrator within the commercial construction industry Experience working on projects from $5M to $20M Demonstrated experience in managing a diverse range of construction projects. Strong understanding of Australian construction contracts Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Cheops, Jobpac, Aconex, Procore) A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is highly regarded.
