Position: Early Childhood Teacher Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Artarmon NSW 2064 Our client is currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to work with the team at Butterflies International Early Learning and Child Care Centre, a family owned and operated early learning centre in Artarmon. They have a low staff turn-over rate and a great reputation within the local community and with previous and current families. Some of their staff have been working here for more than 10 years and have seen children from the same families grow into teenagers. Their fabulous centre is looking to welcome a passionate and caring Early Childhood Teacher to work as an Education Leader in their ‘Nursery and Toddler’ room, you will manage children aged between 2 - 3 years. You will work alongside other experienced and passionate teachers. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Create engaging environments for children to explore and document their learning and development at a high standard Develop learning programs based on your knowledge of each child, their ideas and developmental goals Organizing and planning educational experiences indoors and outdoors Offering a range of activities and opportunities to enhance motor skills, cooperation, self-assurance, and comprehension Guide the development and implementation of a high-quality educational program, based on the practices and principle Monitoring students to assess their progress and identify signs of physical or emotional issues and other disabilities Ensuring students' nutritional health, well-being, and safety are met while identifying obstacles that may hinder their advancement Communicating with parents about students' progress, participating in parent meetings, staff gatherings, and committee discussions Engaging in community and family support programs as appropriate Requirements: A suitable Early Childhood Teaching qualification (a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification) At least five (5) years of current knowledge and experience in early childhood education theory and practice Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals – speaking another language other than English is a merit to your application. Proven time management and leadership skills. Valid working with children's check and first aid desirable.
