Reliability Engineer — Singleton, Singleton Area

Hunter Valley, NSW (DIDO or Local) • 4-month contract • $75–$85/hr super About the Role We’re seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to support CHPP operations at a major fixed plant site near Singleton, NSW . This is a 4-month contract , suited to candidates who are local or able to DIDO – no FIFO or camp is available. You’ll focus on improving reliability, performance, and maintainability of CHPP assets, working with site-based maintenance, planning, and operational teams. This is a high-impact role with a defined scope and strong stakeholder support. What you’ll do: Key responsibilities… Analyse CHPP fixed plant performance and failure trends Lead and implement reliability improvement initiatives Review and optimise maintenance strategies, task lists, and PMs Provide support for defect elimination, root cause analysis and asset health reviews Liaise with planners, supervisors, and OEMs to align strategies Contribute to reporting, data integrity, and project delivery What we’re looking for: About you… Reliability or maintenance engineering background in mining fixed plant CHPP experience highly desirable Proven ability to lead RCA and defect elimination Comfortable interpreting maintenance and asset data Able to work site-based in Singleton/Hunter Valley (local or DIDO only) Must have the right to work in Australia About Us Maintenance Systems Solutions Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company with offices throughout Australia and internationally.
