About the role As a strong leader, with demonstrated people management and sales skills, our QLD Sales Manager will drive business development across our network of 53 member stores, wholesale business and warehouse operations in Queensland. Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and rural product knowledge will enable you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providers and customer service teams. Responsibilities As Sales Manager, you will: Ensure the effective delivery of the national AIRR sales strategy across member stores and warehouse operations Manage Sales and Inventory performance including aged inventory, stock turns and debtor arrangements Play an active role in the growth and development of the customer service team by being actively involved in the day-to-day operations Build and maintain strong relationships with both members and wholesale customers throughout the state Provide exceptional customer service and advice on rural products while introducing new product lines About you To succeed at AIRR, you will have: Previous experience in a fast paced, customer focused sales environment Demonstrated experience in sales and business development (ideally rural products/farm supplies) Current Forklift License and Agsafe accreditation (advantageous) Understanding of agricultural products, seasonal requirements, the region and our competitors Proficiency in using the Microsoft suite and operating POS systems Ability to work collaboratively within the warehouse and customer service teams and wider network while having a passion for encouraging change About AIRR AIRR is proud to be a part of Elders, the last Australian-listed major agribusiness.
