Job description We are currently seeking a Data Engineer with 5 years of experience to join a dynamic team working on a high-impact data migration project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SSIS along with a solid background in data cleansing, transformation, and reconciliation. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support ETL jobs using Informatica and other technologies to process large volumes of data for migration. Implement data cleansing, standardization, and quality checks to ensure data readiness for migration. Develop data reconciliation jobs to validate and verify migrated data. Create robust solutions and environments for identifying and resolving data issues. Deploy mappings to run in both scheduled batch and real-time environments. Thoroughly document all mappings, mapplets, and business rules; provide detailed handover documentation to the customer. Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements related to data quality, cleaning, standardization, ETL processes, and reconciliation. Skills & Experience Required: 5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Strong expertise in SSIS. Solid understanding of data migration, data pipelines, and ETL processes. Experience in implementing data quality checks, cleansing, and standardization techniques. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
