With branches across Australia and a strong commitment to engineering excellence, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at the Dandenong South head office. About the Role This full-time position is responsible for managing industrial customer accounts, providing technical advice, and coordinating end-to-end sales and product support activities. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering tailored solutions, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the growth of our national sales operations. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop relationships with industrial clients, providing advice on product selection and application. Promote and sell conveyor belting, drive components, and other power transmission solutions. Prepare quotations and process sales orders using internal ERP and CRM systems (e.g. SAP, Salesforce). Conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and provide technical after-sales support. Liaise with warehouse, purchasing, and workshop teams to ensure timely fulfilment and product availability. Resolve product returns, service requests, and warranty issues professionally and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and technical documentation. Monitor market trends and support the development of territory-based sales strategies. Key Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in technical or industrial product sales (B2B), preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Proficiency with business systems including ERP and CRM software (SAP and Salesforce experience desirable). Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a focus on customer engagement. Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into practical solutions. Self-motivated, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline is preferred. What We Offer Competitive salary between $75,000 – $85,000 plus superannuation.
