We are a growing company with a vision to make a difference, and we are looking for Field Ecologists at all levels who are ready to enhance their ecological consulting career working within our ACT ecology team. We seek candidates who have finished their studies and acquired some experience in conducting ecological field work and who are keen to travel and develop their technical skills in mapping vegetation and habitat and undertaking flora and fauna surveys. This role is field based, targeting surveys in spring and summer 2025/2026 in a range of locations throughout the ACT, with opportunities to also work within NSW. Permanent roles may be available following this period, pending business needs. About You: We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Field Ecologists who meet the following criteria: A degree or postgraduate qualification (or in progress) in environmental science, botany, zoology, or a related field A strong desire to work flexible hours and travel for ecological fieldwork including possible trips of extended duration (one week or greater) in rural or remote regions Experience in undertaking ecological surveys and a demonstrated passion for flora and/or fauna Ability to work in a professional team as well as autonomously.
